Introducing Sustainable Development Project “Aarambha”

Project “Aarambha” is especially targeted to provide economic independence to the beneficiaries’ mothers of GFF Helps Nepal. The word “Aarambha” in Nepalese means ‘to begin or start something good for the benefit of everyone. Aarambha works towards encouraging women to use their traditional skills for generating sustainable livelihood. It economically empowers women by making and vending culturally significant products like pickles, snacks, rope incense, and cotton lamps with many more to come, as well as nurturing the country’s cultural heritage. This business venture focuses on bringing traditional, authentic Nepalese products to the market. It also provides a platform where people can buy these products, gift them to friends and family, or take them as souvenirs when visiting Nepal, especially for those living away from home. Aarambha aims to empower women by teaching them useful skills and promoting environmental best practices. This helps women lead sustainable projects, benefiting their communities and society as a whole.

This is one big step to make a positive change for a better tomorrow in Nepal. Come along with us on that empowering and beautiful journey of conserving culture.
